Everett, WA Trial

The 33 patient Washington trial demonstrated significant improvements in pocket depth and clinical attachment level when compared to SRP

33 subjects were studied in 2004 at a single private practice site in Everett, Washington, U.S. Results of this study showed that subjects treated with Periowaveâ„¢ plus Scaling and Root Planing statistically significantly outperformed the Control Group (Scaling and Root Planing alone) as measured by Clinical Attachment Level (CAL) gain, Pocket Depth (PD) reduction, and Bleeding on Probing (BOP) reduction. This effect was observable as early as three weeks after treatment. This Study was published in The Journal of Clinical Dentistry.
